Job summary

Addison Group in Oklahoma City is seeking an Engineering Technician – Product Analysis to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role focuses on testing products, troubleshooting failures, identifying root causes, and collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Production to improve processes and product performance.

You will disassemble, inspect, test, document findings, and update work orders while maintaining product/lot integrity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing, remanufacturing, mechanical, testing, maintenance, or similar hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, test, and troubleshoot products and warranty returns.
• Identify root causes of product failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Operate and maintain testing equipment.
• Collect, document, and report test and failure data.
• Monitor rejected units and maintain product/lot integrity.
• Audit production processes and ensure work instructions are followed correctly.
• Work directly with Production and Quality to resolve issues.
• Create and update production work orders and documentation.
• Support process improvement and engineering projects.
• Perform preventive maintenance on department equipment and tools.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of manufacturing, remanufacturing, mechanical, testing, maintenance, or similar hands-on experience.


• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.


• Comfortable using hand tools and pneumatic tools.


• Experience working with testing equipment is a plus.


• Strong computer skills and ability to document findings and create/update work orders.


• PLC/controls experience is a strong plus.


• Experience with Quality, ISO 9001, OSHA, or root-cause analysis is helpful.


• High school diploma or equivalent required.


• Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
