Job description
Duties May Include:
Create, Modify and Review AutoCAD drawings for correctness and completeness
Create and Modify AutoCAD drawings as directed in accordance with MSC Computer Aided Designed (CAD) drawing standard and MSC General Technical Requirements(GTRs).
Ability to develop and update drawings by incorporating sketches, using similar drawings and pictures provided by Engineers
Convert Raster drawings to Vector drawings.
Create both 2D and 3D drawings/renderings as needed
Experience with CAD tools, such as Micros Station, AutoCAD or other similar tools as designated by the customer
Ability to accompany engineers onboard vessels for ship checks to help develop drawings
Required Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance.
Have a minimum of five years of prior drafting experience.
Shall be qualified at AutoCAD Drafter Level III or higher.
Experience with CAD tools, such as Micros Station, AutoCAD or other similar tools as designated by the customer
Have a minimum of a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) plus a minimum of three years of prior experience working in a technical library or similar technical data repository to perform the tasks of a Library Technician.
Have a working knowledge of computer hardware, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office software (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
