Job summary

Commander, Navy Installations Command is seeking an Engineering Technician in the Public Works Department in Milton, FL. The role requires applying facility knowledge to assess repair options and coordinate with stakeholders to address facility needs.

Job description

You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Public Works Department of Commander, Navy Installation Command.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Using sound facility knowledge to collect, develop and prioritize repair alternatives;
  • Being a liaison with supported customers, contracting authorities and leadership to address facility needs and communicate facility solutions;
  • Developing facility repair scopes of work and estimates for use by contracting personnel and for budgetary projections.
