Texas Instruments is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team. In this role you will design and checkout burnin PCB boards on HTOL ovens, and test IC on tester platforms for qualification and customer samples.

The position supports engineering activities including design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype burnin boards per TI specs, with applications spanning analog, circuits, logic, and packaging.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree and at least 2 years of experience.
  • Experience with burn-in testing or HTOL environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and checkout burnin PCB boards on HTOL ovens.
  • Test IC on tester platforms for qualification and customer samples.
  • Support engineering activities including design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype burnin boards per TI specs.
  • Work from schematics, diagrams, and defined plans to perform testing, checkout and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct engineering tests and collect design data; perform operational tests and fault isolation.

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
  • Associates degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
