Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is looking for an Engineering/Technical Co-Op to support demand forecast reporting and lead management. You will work closely with Product Management, Customer Service, and Operations to identify opportunities, analyze performance, and develop reporting capabilities that drive efficiency.

You will analyze sales data, build reports and dashboards for activity tracking, forecast accuracy and captured leads, and assist with automation and product-management tasks.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Math, Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Engineering Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets using Excel.
  • Experience with reports, dashboards, forecasting, or business analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical sales, quotes, and order data to identify potential leads.
  • Develop reports and dashboards for customer activity, demand forecasting and leads tracking.
  • Review processes to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Support Product Managers with business analysis, forecasting and portfolio management tasks.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to identify target accounts and market opportunities.
  • Maintain and organize customer, demand forecast and design data in databases.

A Day In The Life
  • Analyze historical sales, customer quotes, and order data to identify potential leads.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that track customer activity, demand forecasting and captured leads.
  • Review Engineering and Sales processes to assist in automation for efficiency.
  • Support Product Managers with business analysis, forecasting, and portfolio management activities.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to identify target accounts and market opportunities.
  • Help maintain and organize customer, demand forecast and engineered design databases.
  • Assist with change management, data validation, and other projects related to the company's SAP ERP transition.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI preferred.
  • Experience working with large data sets and business reporting tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Math, Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Engineering Management, or a related field.
  • Prior internship, co-op, or project experience involving analytics, marketing, or business analysis is preferred.
