Job summary

AHEAD builds platforms for digital business. The Engineering Technician Manager leads the engineering service technicians, oversees project schedules, and drives performance testing, BOM maintenance, and ECN/EOL processes.

You will mentor technicians, participate in leadership discussions, and help shape engineering workflows. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong documentation, and collaboration across engineering teams to deliver on complex service projects and ensure high quality

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience working with, building, and integrating computer components into systems.
• 3 years of experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
• 3 years of leadership experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach members of the engineering technician team on processes and best practices to work more effectively.
• Perform 1:1's with each of the engineering technicians
• Be an active member on the engineering leadership team
• Work with engineering technicians on their individual development plans
• Conduct annual reviews for each of the engineering technicians
• Manage a project schedule and milestones for engineering service projects.
• Lead engineering service efforts on the team such as validation & performance testing efforts.
• Create department work instructions and train new employees
• Participate in the hiring and termination process as needed.
• Create and manage SLA's to monitor the performance of the team.
• Provide production support as needed through a ticketing system.
