Job summary

Baker Hughes University Internships: Engineering and Technology – 2027 opportunities, starting January 2027 for 24 weeks. The program enables students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives.

You’ll participate in focused training, team meetings, work on projects, and present results. You will be supported by a buddy and manager to ensure a valuable learning experience and exposure to HS&E culture.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics or other STEM-related program.
• GPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
• Assist engineers with ongoing projects by researching, analyzing data, and providing technical support.
• Participate in design, create drawings or prototypes, and contribute to new product development.
• Keep accurate records of experiments and project information and prepare reports.
• Collaborate in software development, coding, or programming tasks with engineers.
• Work as a team and communicate effectively to achieve goals and solve technical issues.
• Apply HS&E standards to ensure safety and compliance.
