MiniMed is seeking an Engineering Technician II for on-site work in Juncos, Puerto Rico. You will transform designs into functional equipment, troubleshoot and calibrate across electronic and mechanical domains, and support validations.

You should have at least 2 years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred, along with familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and basic SAP/vision system/PLC knowledge.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (US), vocational or technical education or certification (other countries).
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point; SAP knowledge; Vision System, PLC basics.

Responsibilities

  • As an Engineering Technician II, performs duties in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment and systems.
  • Works from schematics and drawings; records data; conducts calibrations and adjustments as directed.
  • Maintain machines and manufacturing equipment in excellent condition; inspect components.
  • Assembles and installs equipment using precision tools; support validations activities.

As a Engineering Technician II, you will be at the heart of our mission — transforming innovative designs into life-changing diabetes technology that reaches patients across the globe.**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.*** Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.* Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.* Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.* Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.* Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.* Maintain machines and manufacturing equipment working in excellent conditions.
