Dolly Parton Children's Hospital is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and building systems. The role reports to the Engineering Manager and requires basic electrical and plumbing knowledge.
Responsibilities include responding to work orders, assisting in fire alarm and HVAC maintenance, using power and hand tools safely, and covering on-call shifts as needed to ensure a safe, reliable environment for patients and staff.
Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and buildings.
REPORTS TO Engineering Manager
Supervisory Responsibilities: NO
Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
License/Certification Required: Valid TN Driver License
Minimum Work Experience: 2 years experience in facility maintenance to include mechanical systems preferred.
Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing.
Must maintain schedule flexibility, assisting in coverage of other shifts when needed.
Will be required to cover on-call in the technician rotation and respond when necessary.

Light lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 10-20 lbs occasionally and frequent moving of objects of less than 10 lbs is required.
Frequent sitting with some walking, standing, squatting, bending and reaching is required.
Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
