Job summary

KLA in Milpitas, CA is seeking engineering and manufacturing tech to install and validate high‑density server/rack systems. You will collaborate with engineers to wire, cable, and rack components, perform health checks, and troubleshoot issues on the line.

This role emphasizes hands‑on assembly, documentation, and support of complex hardware in a fast paced environment. Experience with server hardware, cable routing, and both Windows and Linux platforms is required.

  • Proficient with Visio for layouts and schematics.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux OS installation, OS/Data backup, recovery.
  • 4–6 years of related experience.

  • T/S Server/Rack Powerup issues.
  • Route Cables and Connect inter and intra racks.
  • Logistics and Hardware RMA Management.
  • Create Interconnect and OMS Diagrams.

Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA's metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The Broadband Plasma Division (BBP) provides market-leading patterned wafer optical inspection systems for leading-edge IC manufacturing. Logic, foundry, and memory customers depend on BBP products to detect yield-critical defects for process debug and excursion monitoring at advanced process nodes. BBP flagship products include the 29xx and 39xx series which leverage Broadband Plasma technology to capture a wide range of defects with ultimate sensitivity at the optical inspection speeds needed for inline defect monitoring.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

This position is for Engineering and manufacturing Tech, for performing functions and tasks associated with the area of High Performance Computing Racks. This includes working with engineers for Server and Rack installation, cabling and set-up, validation of rack/system health and Trouble shooting.

Job duties also include performing rework of servers, quality testing related to the components, subassemblies and final assemblies. This requires use of sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience

Base Pay Range: $32.07 - $54.52 Per Hour

Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA
