WHAT YOULL DO

We make an extraordinary product. Some might say it defies physics! As our Engineering Support Team Technician, youll work closely with the Product Development and R&D engineers to develop the next great Seakeeper product. Youll have an immediate impact to our Engineering efforts by:

• Collaborating with a team of product engineers with mechanical, electrical and software specialties to continue innovating Seakeepers core technologies to deliver new products with challenging expectations in a timely manner
• Assembling items by referencing blueprints and parts lists as well as gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
• Inspecting & investigating individual components or assemblies to understand potential failure modes
• Working with engineers to utilize parts for initial validation but also addressing product findings outside specifications with Quality
• Taking daily notes, which the Gyro Engineering Team will reference, in regard to builds, teardowns & inspections
• Troubleshooting and advising alternative solutions to achieve product goals
• Maintaining equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturers instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and advising external repair needs
• Following job safety parameters and maintaining a clean & safe working environment

MUST-HAVES

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Be mechanically inclined
• Possess quality focus, sound judgment and decision-making skills
• Flexible and agile with the ability to pivot quickly to changing priorities
• Self-motivated team player and highly motivated to make a difference
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
• Able to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, pallet jacks and adhere with standard operating procedures and job safety parameters
• Ability to do the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and products weighing up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds occasionally
  • Stand or walk for extended periods (812-hour shifts) on concrete or other hard surfaces
  • Perform frequent repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, reaching, and gripping
  • Use hands and fingers to handle small parts, operate tools or controls, and assemble products with precision
  • Visually inspect products for defects, labels, or measurements
  • Distinguish sounds such as machinery alarms, beeps, or spoken instructions in a noisy environment
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear

• Experience using NetSuite and/or Wrike

MORE DETAILS YOULL WANT TO KNOW

• Youll be based in our Leesport, PA facility full-time
• Working hours are a start time anywhere from 6 - 8 am and this is an 8.5-hour shift with a 30-minute lunch break
• On-the-job training will be provided (we will help you become the Seakeeper expert!)
• Youll report to the EST Manager, also based in PA
• This is a manual labor position, working in a manufacturing environment

YOUR TEAM

Our EST (engineering support team) group is nestled within our Gyro Product Engineering department. It is a small, but mighty team that covers a lot of ground. The department is comprised of engineers with varying backgrounds and specialties including hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, software, controls and more with a heavy emphasis on collaboration.
