Job summary

Delta Utilities, a natural gas utility headquartered in New Orleans, LA, is seeking an Engineering Support Representative II to assist engineering design processes, manage SharePoint sites, and coordinate with permitting authorities. You will develop internal/external platforms, track Right of Way permits, and support pre-construction notifications, collaborating with Gas Supply, Gas Engineering, and Control teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Oracle, and ArcGIS is expected.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent knowledge of English, basic mathematics, grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• 2 years of related engineering or construction experience for II level.
• Ability to learn and use ArcGIS and other engineering programs as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, administrate, and control access to Engineering Support SharePoint sites.
• Lead development of new SharePoint sites and dashboards.
• Coordinate with local government permitting authorities and franchise agreements.
• Assist with Work Order creation and coordination of gas pipeline shutdowns.
• Use Microsoft 365, Oracle, and ArcGIS to support Gas Engineering.
