Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation is seeking a Supervisor, Engineering in Florida to lead a team responsible for transmission and distribution engineering, project design, permitting, and standards governance across the enterprise.

You will align processes, drive performance, and ensure safety and compliance while collaborating with Operations, Regulatory, and Business Development teams. A Bachelor's in Engineering and 5 years' experience are required, with PE certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Five years of experience in a similar role.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Preferred: PE license or other related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a team responsible for transmission and distribution engineering functions including project design, permitting, and standards governance.
• Develops and coaches team members; conducts performance appraisals.
• Partners with Operations, Business Development and Regulatory teams on project development and regulatory filings.
• Provides technical guidance on project design, permitting, standards development and process improvements.
• Sets priorities, tracks targets, and ensures safety and compliance across the enterprise.
• Supports budgeting and communications related to projects and operations.
