Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI seeks a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to guide machining system development, installation and continuous improvement for powertrain programs. You will couple engineering leadership with process expertise, supplier coordination, and cross‑functional execution to deliver safe, high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions.
The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing engineering and leadership, with strong GD&T, blue print reading, and lean manufacturing experience.
Lead and support the development, installation, launch, and continuous improvement of round part and crankshaft machining systems for new and existing powertrain programs. This LL6 role combines manufacturing engineering leadership, process expertise, supplier coordination, supervisory responsibilities, and cross-functional execution to deliver safe, high-quality, cost-effective, and efficient machining solutions.
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline required; Master of Science, MBA, or other advanced degree preferred.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
