Job summary

ONE Gas, Inc. in Oklahoma City is seeking a senior engineer to supervise design and capital projects for gas transmission and distribution pipelines. You will guide cost estimation, work orders, and as-built reviews while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include leading project planning, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing talent. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2+ years of pipeline experience are required; PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Two or more years of experience in pipeline design, drafting, project management and project estimations.
• Experience with gas design standards and related governmental regulations.
• Hands-on experience with GIS, AutoCAD, Synergi, Excel, and Maximo.
• Depth of experience applying mathematical and geometric concepts.
• Demonstrated leadership and talent development abilities.
• Experience interpreting technical manuals, drawings and regulations.
• Strong communication and coordination skills; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise design of company pipeline systems and related facilities.
• Review cost estimates and work orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee annual work plan development and future project planning.
• Lead complex projects and guide feasible alternatives for operations.
• Collaborate with teams and external stakeholders to meet budgets and timelines.
• Ensure customer timelines and system requirements are met.
• Review as-built reports and implement lessons learned.
• Assign and supervise workload; develop employee performance.
