Job summary

Framatome in Richland, WA is seeking a Supervisor I, Engineering to guide development, validation, and maintenance of BWR neutronics codes and methodologies used for reactor analyses across commercial projects and R&D.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with engineering teams, ensure regulatory alignment, and help set technical priorities to keep tool capabilities aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; physics/engineering tech may be accepted.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
• Strong communication to convey detailed technical data.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Displays leadership characteristics and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Guide development, validation, and maintenance of Framatome's BWR neutronics codes and methods.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and review technical work for regulatory alignment.
• Help set technical priorities to keep code capabilities aligned with business needs.
• Mentor engineers, troubleshoot modeling issues, and collaborate with thermal hydraulics and core design.
• Direct and oversee engineering activities to ensure timely execution.
• Work with customers to develop strong relationships and gather requirements.
