Job summary

Hilton San Antonio is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee the property’s electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and mechanical systems and to manage maintenance requests and preventive programs for building equipment and rooms.

The role requires supervising the maintenance team, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring high safety standards while delivering superior guest experiences. Experience in residential/apartment maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school certification.
• HVAC certification required.
• Two years of experience as an Engineering Supervisor in the residential/apartment industry.
• General residential maintenance skills include A/C, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, electronics, drywall installation, and finishing.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds at variable distances often.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance team.
• Serve as company representative with contractors and temporary staff.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Maintain grounds and parking lots to keep them clean and safe.
• Coordinate and supervise corrective and preventive maintenance per safety procedures.
• Ensure equipment and furnishings are safe and operable.
• Organize and lead projects from initiation to completion.
• Maintain equipment records in the maintenance system.
