Job summary

Dellshire Resort is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to assist the Director of Engineering in daily operations across the resort. You will lead the engineering team, perform hands-on maintenance, and ensure safety and guest satisfaction while upholding brand standards.

This role requires 3–5 years in hotel/ resort maintenance, strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, and supervisory experience. OSHA compliance and documentation are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance or engineering experience in a hotel or resort.
• Supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and work order systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• EPA Certification or related trade licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and coordinating daily maintenance and repair activities across the resort property.
• Provide leadership, training, and direction to the engineering team, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
• Perform hands-on maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
• Support the implementation and documentation of the resort’s preventive maintenance program.
• Inspect guest rooms, equipment, and public areas regularly to ensure safety, functionality, and cleanliness standards are met.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and departments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, preventive maintenance logs, and completed repairs.
• Assist with training team members in safety procedures, maintenance techniques, and use of equipment.
• Support compliance with OSHA, local building codes, fire safety, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with the Director of Engineering on special projects, capital improvements, and energy-saving initiatives.
