About the Role
Are you an experienced maintenance professional and natural leader who enjoys solving problems, supporting a team, and keeping a property operating at its best? We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to join our TEAM and help lead our engineering and maintenance operations.
As Engineering Supervisor, you will work closely with the Chief Engineer and hotel leadership to supervise daily engineering operations, coordinate preventive maintenance, respond to maintenance requests, and help ensure that guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and building systems are maintained to a high standard.
This is a hands‑on leadership position for someone who enjoys both working alongside a team and helping develop others.

Responsibilities
As an Engineering Supervisor, you will help oversee the daily operations of the hotel's engineering and maintenance department. Responsibilities include:
- Supervise, support, and provide direction to engineering and maintenance team members.
- Assist the Chief Engineer with daily assignments, scheduling, and prioritizing maintenance requests.
- Perform and oversee general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
- Respond to guest room and public‑area work orders and service calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building‑system issues and determine appropriate repairs.
- Perform and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance programs.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, mechanical spaces, and building systems to identify maintenance needs.
- Assist with maintaining HVAC systems, PTAC units, plumbing, electrical systems, drywall, painting, doors, locks, and other hotel equipment.
- Help maintain fire protection and life‑safety systems and ensure issues are reported and addressed appropriately.
- Monitor the condition of the building exterior and grounds and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Ensure maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with inventory management and maintaining adequate supplies, parts, and equipment.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers as directed by the Chief Engineer or hotel leadership.
- Promote and maintain safe work practices and ensure maintenance procedures are followed.
- Assist with training, coaching, and developing engineering team members.
- Provide excellent service to guests and respond professionally to guest concerns.
- Assist with housekeeping or other hotel departments when operationally necessary.
- Communicate maintenance issues, completed work, and outstanding projects to hotel leadership.
- Help ensure compliance with hotel standards, company policies, and applicable safety requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous maintenance, engineering, or facilities experience required; hotel or hospitality experience strongly preferred.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Experience with basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and PTAC systems.
- Knowledge of fire protection and life‑safety systems is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple work orders and effectively coordinate a team.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Professional and guest‑focused demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a TEAM.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members.
- Must be able to lift and move objects weighing 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Schedule flexibility, including weekends and holidays, as hotel operations require.
