Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an engineering undergraduate for a full-time intern/co-op position in the Town of Charleston. The role emphasizes building energy management and sustainable design principles, offering hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical design. Candidates must be currently enrolled in an engineering program with a minimum GPA of 2.8 and strong communication skills. This position provides valuable field exposure while working closely with senior engineering staff.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an engineering degree program at an accredited US college or university.
• Satisfactory completion of freshman year with a minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Ability to complete the cooperative education program in accordance with their College’s or University’s guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical or Electrical engineering responsibilities include design and document production.
• Conduct field observation and survey activities.
• Witness field installations of the systems.

Skills

Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Interest in consulting engineering field

Education
