Job summary

McKim & Creed is an employee-owned engineering firm seeking an Engineering Student Intern, Land Development in Newark, DE. You will work under a senior engineer and with designers to produce plans, specifications, reports, and permit submittals for civil site and land development projects.

Sophomores or juniors enrolled in an ABET-accredited BS Civil Engineering program and with Civil 3D or AutoCAD experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Sophomore or junior enrolled in an ABET-accredited Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering program.
• Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD experience.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong leadership, teamwork and communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s license.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Planning, Development and Natural Resources (PDNR) team as an Engineering Student Intern, Land Development at our Newark, DE office.If you want to work at a company that will help you become the best you can be, we’re glad you found McKim & Creed.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INCLUDE:

• Work under the supervision of a senior engineer/project manager and with designers and technicians to produce plans, specifications, reports, and permit submittals for civil site and land development engineering projects.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Sophomore or Junior who is currently enrolled in an ABET accredited Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering program
• Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD experience
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• An excellent grasp of your professional field along with leadership, team building and communication abilities.
• Ability to exercise good judgment in handling and solving complex technical and people assignments in line with the company’s five core values.
• A valid driver's license.
