Join to apply for the Engineering Specialist I role at STV.

STV has openings in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Douglassville, Harrisburg, PA, Newark, or Lawrenceville, NJ for a Highway Engineering Specialist in our Transportation Division.

The successful candidate will have experience in highway design, including geometrics, roadway modeling, cross section development, traffic control, signing, pavement marking, utility coordination, and right-of-way plan development. Responsibilities include designing all phases of highway plan development from inception to construction for various transportation projects.

The Highway Engineering Specialist will collaborate with transportation agencies throughout PA and NJ.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Successful completion of the FE exam (EIT certification) preferred
  • 0 to 5 years of highway design experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, NJDOT, NJ Turnpike Authority, or other transportation agencies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, OpenRoads, MicroStation, InRoads; AutoTAB and PennDOT’s ECMS are a plus

Compensation Range

$52,906 - $70,541
