Job summary

Washing Systems, LLC seeks an Engineering Specialist to join the Engineering/Equipment Department. This role provides expert technical guidance and leads engineering projects, reporting to the Manager of Engineering.

The position covers installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and requires strong analytical and communication skills. Travel and collaboration with customers and vendors are common.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required or equivalent military education with years of experience.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills desired.
• AutoCAD and PLC programming experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage engineering projects.
• Manage installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Direct, evaluate, and confirm product design and changes.
• Consult with customers, vendors and field technicians to solve issues and allocate resources.
• Perform administrative functions such as evaluating and writing reports and approving expenditures.
• Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for engineering work.
• Initiate and participate in equipment modifications for quality and cost improvements.
• Identify advanced technologies for potential business development.
• Evaluate processes to identify areas of improvement.
• Coordinate work to support project management and operations.
