Shift Engineering Specialist will be assigned to a manufacturing compressed work week shift and will report to the Manufacturing organization and perform general manufacturing duties on the production floor such as fabrication (lithography, etch, metals, diffusion, implant, grind/polish, glassing, dicing or wafer electrical test). Set-up, operate, load, and monitor specialized equipment to ensure quality products are produced. Provide technical support to wafer fab operations and drive improvement to the process resulting in improvements in safety, quality, and output. The successful candidate may have responsibilities that span many process technologies: thin films, photolithography, diffusion/implant, metrology, and/or wet and dry/etch.

This position is eligible to receive restricted stock unit (RSU) awards and cash bonuses, solely at MACOM’s discretion, subject to individual and company performance.
The Hourly Range for this position is $37.00 – $50.00 per hour. Actual salary offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
