Convergint is seeking a full-time Engineering Specialist to service and support customers, respond to service calls, and contribute to small projects. You will analyze plans, manage project phases, and help with wiring diagrams and shop drawings.

You should have 3–5 years of technical or low-voltage experience, a high school diploma (GED) or higher, and a valid driver's license. Some college degree in electrical engineering or related field is preferred, and travel to local jobsites is expected.

• Carry out in-depth analysis of plans, functional specifications and contracts to determine technical project requirements and manage a variety of project aspects (estimating, designing, tracking, startup and planning).
• Provide input and may prepare shop drawings and wiring diagrams showing locations of devices and equipment.
• Provide custom systems integrations, detailed systems upgrade planning and execution, systems audits and consultation, and/or database management and manipulation.
• May install, configure, and support a variety of network systems and equipment for assigned projects.
