Job summary

Electrical Power Products seeks an Engineering Specialist to support design and execution of custom electrical power distribution solutions. You’ll collaborate with Engineers, Manufacturing, and Project Leaders to turn complex requirements into high‑quality, customer‑focused outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering-related software tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, and documentation of custom electrical power distribution products.
  • Interpret customer specifications and project requirements to assist in delivering engineered solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, bills of materials, and project documentation.
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist with technical reviews, product modifications, and engineering change processes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to support production and project execution.
  • Ensure designs, documentation, and processes comply with applicable standards and customer specifications.
  • Participate in product testing, validation, and quality improvement efforts.
  • Contribute to a culture focused on safety, collaboration, innovation, and customer success.

What You'll Do

As an Engineering Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting engineering projects from concept through production while helping ensure quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience working in a custom manufacturing or engineered-to-order environment.
