BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW
The SPARC team part of Enterprise Technology Operations provide Integration and Automation services to the Application Support groups in a unified approach to cutting-edge systems and processes that form the core of our key business, sharing best practices while providing a critical mass to help drive transformation. The team is reasonable for developing and integrating business solutions leveraging Service Now Platform. Team members have the opportunity to work at the forefront of technology innovation alongside industry leaders and make significant contributions to the field.
RESPONSIBILIITES
As an Application Developer for the ServiceNow team, you will have the following responsibilities.
• Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all technical tasks related to configuration and implementation
• Provide software coding and customization including, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, and custom application development
• Update and maintain a comprehensive testing protocol for Service Now instance upgrades with the purpose of certifying all applications for use after the upgrade completes
• Design, develop, test, and deploy various Service Now product needs in banking environment within SDLC
• Own and drive enhancements to improve reliability and performance of existing solutions
• Analysing risks, gaps in the existing environment/applications and resolve them
• Drive enhancing scalability, performance, and monitoring strategies for the existing platform
• Collaborating with clients in requirement gathering and providing multiple logical solutions
• Challenge existing solutions, processing and suggest different ways to solve problem or improve stability
• Build/improve run books for quality documentation and auditing purpose
• Effectively manage projects while maintaining a high level of attention to detail adaptable to change and able to work independently and as part of a team
