JOB SUMMARY

We are adding an Engineering Services Manager to our team in Northern Kentucky to lead the integration and testing of server rack product lines. In this role, you will drive process automation and continuous improvement in a high-mix, high-tech production environment, facilitating server rack system integration and high-level assembly across multiple sites. This is a high-impact position that supports cutting-edge AI/ML-based server platforms and will require collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and successful new product introduction (NPI). The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineering leader who can drive innovation, communicate effectively at all organizational levels, and deliver outstanding results for our customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

Automation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Oversee end-to-end integration of high-power server rack systems - including high level assembly, cabling, and functional testing of racks with both air and liquid cooling systems.
  • Ensure smooth deployment of designs developed by external teams, asking the right questions to validate manufacturability and reliability.
  • Proactively seek ways to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve yield and throughput.
  • Utilize data-driven problem solving (root cause analysis, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies) to address production challenges and implement corrective actions that enhance operational performance.
  • Identify and implement advanced process automation solutions to improve production efficiency and quality.
  • Champion the use of modern manufacturing technologies such as machine vision systems, collaborative robots (cobots), guided assembly, and liquid handling systems to enhance our assembly and test processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to support NPI and ongoing production.
  • Coordinate with global customers and suppliers as needed to resolve technical issues, incorporate feedback, and meet project milestones.
  • Serve as a key technical liaison, communicating effectively with all levels of the organization and customers.
  • Provide clear updates on engineering activities, project status, and process improvements to site leadership.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms for executives, while ensuring front-line production staff understand process changes and expectations.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Provide daily guidance and technical expertise to support production.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning - mentoring team members, developing subject matter experts, and promoting best practices across the site.
