Bergkamp Inc. is seeking a talented Engineering Services Manager in Salina, Kansas. This full-time, on-site role involves leading the engineering services team, managing manufacturing projects, and driving operational excellence. The Engineering Services Manager will lead and oversee the engineering services team within a manufacturing environment, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality technical support, solutions, and support that drive operational excellence. This role is pivotal in managing manufacturing engineering projects from conception through completion, coordinating cross‑functional teams to meet production goals and maintain equipment reliability. The manager will develop and implement strategies to optimize engineering processes, improve product quality, and reduce downtime, directly impacting the company's efficiency and profitability. They will serve as a key liaison between engineering, production, and maintenance departments, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. This position is accountable for aligning manufacturing engineering services with business objectives to support sustainable growth and innovation within Bergkamp operations.
The Engineering Services Manager will utilize technical expertise to analyze and resolve complex engineering challenges daily, ensuring manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for managing the engineering team, coordinating with other departments, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Project management skills enable the manager to plan, execute, and monitor engineering initiatives effectively, balancing scope, time, and cost constraints. Analytical skills are applied to interpret data, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement strategies that enhance equipment reliability and production quality. Additionally, proficiency with engineering software and ERP systems supports decision‑making and streamlines workflow management across engineering services. Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Solid Works.

In addition, other elements that an employee could be exposed to occasionally in this work environment include dust, dirt, fumes and odors, mechanical and electrical hazards, fire hazards, and an elevated workplace. This position requires infrequent travel, which may involve exposure to extreme weather elements.
