AAON, Inc. in Redmond, Oregon seeks a Quality Engineer to drive QMS compliance and lead improvement opportunities. You will monitor and analyze quality data from multiple sources to enact root-cause and corrective actions, ensuring products meet engineering specs and customer requirements.
The role involves collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Warranty, and Field Service, development of quality metrics, and oversight of QA activities. Some travel to manufacturing facilities may be required.
Quality Engineers (QEs) are responsible for driving QMS compliance and improvement opportunities to ensure our products meet customer and engineering specifications. QEs will monitor and analyze performance and quality data from various sources to drive root cause/corrective actions and process adherence. QEs will proactively work with other departments and teams to foster and maintain a company-wide quality culture. A QE may be assigned to supervise other team members in the QA department.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
License(s) and Certification(s): Experience in Quality (ASQ CQE Certification), ISO, Lean, Statistical Process Control, Auditing, HVAC, and Continuous Improvement methodologies are preferred.
Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred but not required.
