Job summary

Omni Specialty Packaging, LLC is seeking an Engineering Project Specialist to support equipment installations, capital projects and manufacturing improvements from planning through startup. You will work with the engineering team to drive scope, schedule, and budgets while ensuring documentation is current.

Ideal candidates have an associate/technical degree (or hands-on equivalent), strong mechanical aptitude, and experience reading drawings.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Help develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Coordinate vendors, contractors, equipment deliveries, and installation activities.
• Support equipment testing, commissioning, and startup.
• Maintain project drawings, technical records, and closeout documentation.
• Work with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to improve safety, reliability, and productivity.

What we’re looking for:

• An associate or technical degree in a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read equipment drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Three or more years of experience in manufacturing, engineering support, maintenance, construction, or project coordination preferred.
• Experience with capital projects, packaging equipment, AutoCAD, or IFS Cloud is a plus.
