Job summary

Chemco Systems in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks an Engineering/Project Manager to lead tank and pressure vessel projects in our manufacturing facility. You will manage resources, schedules, and documentation to meet customer specs and OSHA standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/structural/civil engineering, knowledge of codes, and proficiency with AutoCAD 2D and Microsoft 365. Experience in steel fabrication is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/structural/civil engineering.
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering codes and OSHA standards.
  • Detail oriented with high fabrication drawing accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD 2D and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Chemco's tank and pressure vessel manufacturing branch.
  • Review purchase orders and determine applicable requirements.
  • Review raw material requirements and complete BOMs for purchasing.
  • Ensure fabricated tanks and vessels meet customer specs and OSHA standards.
  • Review drawings and instructions for fabrication.
  • Perform structural calculations for steel members.
  • Collaborate with other project managers on parallel projects.
  • Oversee ASME Section VIII Div.1 pressure vessel program.
  • Manage drafters and detailers.
