Overview

ENERCON's Nuclear Services Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead engineering proposals, develop project plans, and manage schedules, budgets, and client relationships. This role requires leadership, strategic thinking, and technical expertise, with potential locations in Chattanooga, Birmingham, or Kennesaw.


Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Collaboration: Lead technical staff in developing proposals, manage matrixed teams, and ensure quality standards and schedules are met.
  • Project Management Excellence: Develop project plans, risk management strategies, and oversee scheduling tools including earned value management.
  • Client Relations & Business Development: Maintain strong client relationships, negotiate project scope, and support marketing efforts.
  • Financial & Reporting Oversight: Manage project financials, reporting, and ensure compliance with internal and federal requirements.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in power generation or nuclear industries, or 10 years with PMP certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Skills in cost estimation, proposal development, scope, schedule, and cost management.
  • Knowledge of earned value management, contract review, and budgeting.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time, potentially longer for client site assignments.
