Job summary

SubCom is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Newington, NH facility. The role requires coordinating project activities, preparing specifications and budgets, and guiding subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and have 8+ years in plant manufacturing or facilities engineering, with strong communication skills and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of PM experience in Plant Manufacturing or Facilities Engineering.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Determine project scope and objectives.
• Prepare specifications, bid requests, cost estimates and contracts.
• Develop detailed project schedules and cost estimates.
• Track project costs to meet budget.
• Provide technical guidance and oversee maintenance and subcontractor activities.
• Direct and coordinate project activities through delegated subordinates or outside contractors.
• Direct planning of equipment layout, installation, modifications and contractor/maintenance activities.
• Analyze existing mechanical systems to troubleshoot problems and improve operating efficiencies.
• Provide project updates to stakeholders on strategy, progress and adjustments.
