Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking a Project Manager Intern for Summer 2027 in Nashville, TN. You will assist project managers with estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyout, submittal reviews, billing, and site visits to understand the full lifecycle of a construction project.

You will participate in weekly training sessions aimed at growing your knowledge of building trades and how to leverage an engineering background to solve client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program or related field of study.
• Prior industry internship experience is a plus.
• Extracurricular involvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Estimating – Describe project proposals and assign values.
• Scheduling – Create a working timeline for subcontractors.
• Design meetings – Attend meetings with owner and design team.
• Buyout – Send bid instructions and evaluate proposals.
• Shop drawing/submittal review – Review drawings with PM and design team.
• Billing – Understand subcontracts, change orders, pay requests and project costs.
• Jobsite visits – Visit sites with PM and superintendent.
• Weekly training sessions – Provide training to interns.
