Under close supervision, you will facilitate project meetings, track milestones, and communicate risks and mitigations. A BS degree and 2 years of PM experience in utilities are required.

Under close supervision of the Manager, manages small engineering construction and expense projects from planning through delivery. Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated. Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines. Communicates schedule and changes to all stakeholders. Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks. Monitors task completion status to identify at risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans.
Education/Training/Certifications: BS Degree, or higher, in Business, Construction Management, or Engineering, or degree conferred within six months of hire. Engineering degree must be from an ABET accredited program. Degree or expected graduation at end of current semester required to be able to interview for position.
Experience/Skills: Two (2) years’ project management within utility or related project management experience with integrated business (e-Builder, NISC, and ESRI systems preferred).
Operation of Equipment: Calculator, personal computer (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), telephone, vehicle.
Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions: Primarily sedentary office work, frequent field visits to project sites, some exposure to inclement weather for field checks or emergencies.
Other Considerations: Very organized with good written, oral and interpersonal skills. Subject to call out after normal working hours. Current driver’s license.
