Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or another applicable technical discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing or a similarly regulated industry.
  • Proven experience leading or managing engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of project scope, schedule, resource, and budget management.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise professional judgment in resolving complex issues.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple engineering projects from planning through execution.
  • Prioritize project tasks and coordinate team resources to effectively meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against established plans, timelines, and objectives.
  • Evaluate and authorize project changes that may significantly impact scope, budget, or schedule.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational and project-related issues to minimize delays.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional engineering and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with external contractors and vendors to ensure satisfactory quality and service.
  • Apply sound engineering judgment and technical expertise to evaluate information and resolve issues.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accountability.
  • Analyze factual and technical information to make informed project and engineering decisions.
