Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced engineering professional to lead projects from concept through commissioning in Plainfield, IL. The role oversees schedules, budgets, customer communication, and cross-functional coordination to drive product improvements and project execution excellence.

You will collaborate with engineering leadership, support sales with estimates, and travel to customer sites for installations and commissioning, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years of engineering and project management experience.
  • Strong leadership and customer relationship skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and timelines.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Project, and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from kickoff through installation and startup.
  • Lead project teams of engineers, vendors, contractors, and production personnel.
  • Coordinate schedules, budgets, procurement, and documentation.
  • Design and improve products, systems, and processes to boost performance and cost efficiency.
  • Serve as primary customer contact throughout project execution.
  • Support sales with estimates, quotations, and technical expertise.
  • Travel to customer sites for installations and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership on process improvements.

Job description

Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000
