Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an Engineering Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ to lead technical projects from initiation to completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and customer communications while coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and at least 3 years of project management experience. The position is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a day shift, Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience minimum managing engineering or technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage engineering project schedules, scopes, budgets, and resources.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and overall project progress.
• Identify project risks and develop risk-mitigation plans.
• Serve as a primary point of contact between customers and internal engineering teams.
• Lead customer meetings, project status updates, and progress presentations.
• Manage customer expectations, feedback, and project scope changes.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to maintain technical alignment.
• Assign project tasks and monitor progress using project management tools.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and status reports.
• Ensure project activities meet applicable quality and safety requirements.
• Communicate project status, issues, risks, and schedule changes to appropriate stakeholders.
• Support projects throughout the product development life cycle.
