Job summary

ADF Engineering, based in Dayton, Ohio, seeks a Project Manager to join our team at the Miamisburg office. You will manage time- and cost-sensitive engineering consulting projects in a multi-disciplinary environment, building positive relationships with industrial customers to deliver cost-effective solutions.

We value strong written communication, leadership, and the ability to guide budgets, schedules, and invoicing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering multi-discipline projects across different industries.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and consulting teams.
• Experience invoicing, financial reporting, and profitability management.
• Understanding of industrial facilities, building systems, codes, and construction processes.
• Excellent writing abilities including proposals and project reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline project delivery with cross-functional teams.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and consulting staff to meet milestones.
• Oversee invoicing, financial reporting, and project profitability.
• Develop positive relationships with industrial customers to provide cost-effective engineering solutions.

ADF Engineering is looking for a Project Manager to become a part of our team at our Miamisburg (South Dayton), Ohio offices.

The successful candidate for this position will work on time and cost sensitive projects in a multi-disciplinary, team-based environment to provide customer-focused engineering consulting services. The successful candidate for this position must have the ability to develop positive working relationships with industrial customers to provide cost-effective solutions to their engineering needs.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in project delivery leading multi-discipline projects across different industries
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and consulting teams
• Manage invoicing, create financial reports and manage profit profitability
• Understanding of industrial facilities, building systems, codes, and construction processes
• Communication, leadership, and client management skills
• Excellent writing abilities including proposals and project reports.

Experience in the following areas is highly desirable

• Consulting engineering
• Inter-disciplinary teams
• Construction Management
• Retrofitting & expanding existing industrial facilities
