Job summary

ADF Engineering is seeking a Project Manager for our Dayton, Ohio area offices. The role involves leading time- and cost-sensitive engineering projects in a multi-disciplinary team, developing positive client relationships and delivering cost-effective solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of progressive project management experience, strong writing abilities for proposals and reports, and excellent communication and leadership skills to manage budgets and invoicing across diverse industries.

Project Manager

ADF Engineering is looking for a Project Manager to become a part of our team at our Miamisburg (South Dayton), Ohio offices.

The successful candidate for this position will work on time and cost sensitive projects in a multi-disciplinary, team-based environment to provide customer-focused engineering consulting services. The successful candidate for this position must have the ability to develop positive working relationships with industrial customers to provide cost-effective solutions to their engineering needs.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in project delivery leading multi-discipline projects across different industries
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and consulting teams
• Manage invoicing, create financial reports and manage profit profitability
• Understanding of industrial facilities, building systems, codes, and construction processes
• Communication, leadership, and client management skills
• Excellent writing abilities including proposals and project reports.

Experience in the following areas is highly desirable

• Consulting engineering
• Inter-disciplinary teams
• Construction Management
• Retrofitting & expanding existing industrial facilities
