Job summary

Rheo Engineering is seeking an Engineering Project Manager in Peoria, IL to own the full lifecycle of complex powder handling equipment projects from kickoff through delivery. You will coordinate sales, engineering, manufacturing, and testing teams to hit schedule, budget, and performance targets.

The role emphasizes hands-on planning, proactive communication with customers, and using Rheo’s ERP and MS 365 tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle of assigned projects from proposal to final sign-off.
• Create and manage detailed project plans and timelines.
• Manage budgets and financial performance using ERP.
• Coordinate design reviews with engineers and product managers.
• Lead kickoff meetings and communicate with customers and teams.
• Coordinate site acceptance testing and project hand-offs.
