Job summary

Power Design seeks an Engineering Project Manager to lead cross-functional engineering projects from inception to completion. You will drive budgets, schedules, and quality standards while coordinating with engineers, designers, stakeholders, and contractors nationwide.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, strong project management experience, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably engineering/technical.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, provide direction, and foster collaboration.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and enforce cost control.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Establish and enforce quality standards and ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
• Develop schedules, set timelines, monitor progress, and adjust resources to meet deadlines.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and provide status updates.
• Allocate and manage project resources including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure scope is well-defined and changes are documented and approved.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation (reports, plans, contracts, specs).
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Oversee procurement, vendor selection, contracts, and supplier relationships.
