Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Completed at least two years of college education before beginning internship.
• Strong academic performance minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA and extracurricular achievement.
• Demonstrated communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate and gather input from various sources.
• Ability to plan and organize the work and document progress clearly and concisely.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven track record of adaptability, innovation, initiative, and integrity.
• Must have legal U.S. working authorization to participate in the program.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment screening process.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: develop scopes, cost estimates, bid packages, and schedules; support small capital projects from feasibility studies to field implementation; coordinate with contractors and vendors.
• Engineering & Technical Support: collect field data; perform engineering calculations (pressure drop, pipe/pump sizing, heat/material balances); help prepare MOC documents and as-built drawings.
• Project Controls & Documentation: track costs, schedules, milestones, risks; prepare meeting minutes, action-item logs, presentations, and monthly reports.
• Safety & Collaboration: participate in PHAs, PSSRs, MOC reviews; work with Engineering, Process Safety, Production, and Maintenance to resolve issues.
