About the Role

Kipcon is seeking a technically strong and detail-focused Engineering Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of structural engineering projects. This role is responsible for driving projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to Kipcon’s high quality standards.

You’ll work closely with internal team members, approved contractors, and clients to manage communication, coordinate resources, and maintain alignment with expectations especially in the context of existing building inspection standards. This is a fully remote position, with the option of working in office at our headquarters in North Brunswick, NJ.

Key Responsibilities

• Clients for my projects are proactively informed, resulting in smooth coordination, clear expectations, and minimal surprises.
• Projects are completed within the approved budget.
• My projects are appropriately staffed and scheduled to ensure timely delivery, taking into consideration project size, location, client expectations, client/property manager relationships, and safety.
• Deliverables are completed on time, meet internal quality standards, and fulfill the client’s scope and expectations.
• Project-related and organizational risks, delays, or issues are identified early and escalated or addressed to avoid impact to scope, budget, relationships, or team effectiveness.
• My deliverables are presented to clients in a clear and professional manner, ensuring alignment and confidence in Kipcon’s recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline (required).
• 2+ years of experience in structural system diagnostics, inspections, or construction-phase services (balconies, facades, garages, roofs, etc.) (required).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus but not required.
