Position Overview

The Engineering Project Coordinator works under the direction of an Engineering Project Supervisor or Manager to support clients with project execution. This includes allocating and managing resources to implement design and technical specifications necessary to meet regulatory and client requirements. This is an entry-level leadership role and individuals are expected to have a high degree of leadership potential and technical competence.

Job Duties

• Provides daily support to their team by addressing and resolving day-to-day issues and problems.*
• Ensures that larger, more complex issues are communicated to the Project Manager.*
• Serves as a front-line coach for the team by providing on-the-job training, skill development, and ongoing performance feedback.*
• Responsible for team’s time and attendance, hours reporting, and accuracy.*
• Conducts onsite field visits to inquire, observe, and help identify challenges and improve processes.*
• Partners with the Safety Team to conduct required safety programs and investigations. Submits required documentation.*
• Provides daily support to Project Supervisor and/or Project Manager by setting client meeting agendas, preparing necessary documentation, recording and following up on action items.*
• Assists in the hiring, selection, and onboarding of new team members as needed.*
• Executes necessary change management activities with team.*
• Collaborates with Project Manager to create and maintain process and procedures documentation.*
• Understands and ensures proper use of document management systems, data privacy requirements, and document sharing procedures.
• Ensures the proper care and maintenance of any vehicle and equipment assigned including regular inspections, maintenance checks, and prompt reporting of any issues to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance personnel.
• Reacts safely and appropriately in emergency situations.*
• Reports and responds timely and accurately to supervisor.*
• Participates in employee and professional training events as assigned.
• Travels (up to 75%) for on-site job duty training, projects, or meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Follows all company policies, procedures, and work rules.
