- Role: Engineering Project Coordinator III
- Location: 100% Remote (Global)
- Compensation: USD 75–95 per hour
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Coordinator III to support hardware development programs within a fast-paced consumer electronics environment. This role partners closely with Technical Program Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure hardware deliverables are executed on time, within budget, and aligned to product development milestones.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, operationally strong, and comfortable managing logistics, procurement, and budgeting across multiple concurrent programs.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Hardware Support
- Partner with Technical Program Managers to support hardware program execution
- Ensure timely delivery of hardware to cross-functional teams
- Track program milestones and support execution readiness
Allocation & Distribution Management
- Collect hardware allocation requests from internal teams
- Coordinate distribution logistics across teams and locations
- Maintain accurate tracking systems for hardware allocation
Budget & Procurement Oversight
- Support budget forecasting and tracking across multiple programs
- Manage procurement workflows, including purchase order (PO) creation and tracking
- Monitor spending and ensure alignment with program budgets
Logistics Coordination
- Collaborate with logistics partners to expedite shipping and delivery timelines
- Coordinate domestic and international vendor shipments
- Resolve shipment delays and operational blockers proactively
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work across engineering, supply chain, finance, and external vendors
- Manage communications across multiple time zones
- Maintain structured documentation and reporting across concurrent programs
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Engineering Program Specialist, Project Coordinator, or similar role
- Experience supporting hardware development programs in consumer electronics
- Experience working with domestic and international vendors
- Strong proficiency in managing complex spreadsheets and tracking systems
- Experience with procurement systems and accounting tools
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills
