Job summary

Summit Polymers is seeking a Program Manager, Engineering to lead cross-functional product programs within automotive interior systems. You will manage budgets, timelines, and the PDT, serving as the primary liaison with Customer, Sales, Design, Estimating, Accounting, Quality and Manufacturing.

The role requires a BS in engineering and automotive project engineering experience, with strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering and automotive project engineering experience.
• Experience managing budgets and schedules for engineering programs.
• Ability to coordinate with Sales, Design, Estimating, Accounting and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PDT and manage program budget and timeline.
• Serve as primary liaison with customer and internal teams.
• Prepare and review quotes, change requests, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain program documentation and track progress to meet milestones.
• Ensure on-time delivery of customer requirements and successful submissions.
