Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to lead high-impact quality improvement initiatives across the Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) business. You will drive complex, cross-functional programs spanning product quality, compliance, operations, and customer outcomes, partnering with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs.

The role requires influencing without authority, executing across matrixed teams, and communicating progress to executive leadership.

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience leading quality improvement initiatives across product lifecycle, manufacturing and supplier networks.
  • Ability to influence across matrixed organizations and communicate progress to executives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional quality improvement programs across product lifecycle, manufacturing operations, supplier network, and quality management system.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Prepare concise executive updates and governance materials for Quality leadership and Operating Unit leadership.

This role will lead complex, cross-functional efforts designed to improve product quality, compliance, operational performance, customer experience, and business outcomes. The role serves as a key integrator across functions including Research & Development, Quality (Operating Unit, Ops and Supplier), Manufacturing Engineering and Regulatory Affairs. This position requires an experienced leader capable of influencing without direct authority, driving execution across matrixed organizations, managing strategic initiatives, and effectively communicating progress, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership.U.S. Candidates: This role offers a flexible work style that may include a combination of onsite and remote work.
