Job summary
Rodriguez Consulting is seeking an Engineering Plans Leader I in Philadelphia to oversee AutoCAD Civil 3D survey drafting for municipal infrastructure projects. You will manage existing conditions surveys, boundary work, and ALTA/NSPS plans, coordinating with a licensed surveyor, field team, and engineers.
This leadership role directs and reviews drafting staff, elevates CADD standards, and integrates AI-assisted tools to improve production efficiency on water, sewer, and roadway projects for
Qualifications
- 8+ years of AutoCAD Civil 3D survey drafting experience including boundary, ROW and ALTA/NSPS plans.
- Advanced Civil 3D skills including COGO point management and surface creation.
- Knowledge of deeds, record plans, legal descriptions, title commitments and ALTA/NSPS standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead production of topographic, existing utility, boundary, ROW, ALTA/NSPS, subdivision and as-built plans.
- Coordinate ALTA/NSPS surveys withTable A items and title commitments.
- Review drafting for accuracy before QA/QC and finalization.
- Set daily production priorities and train new drafting staff.
- Collaborate with licensed surveyor, field team, and design engineers.
